I came into this class thinking I was above average when it came to using. I really thought I new plenty, and that I could easily figure things out. This class really proved me wrong! I have learned so much in this class and have found out things I never knew were possible. Creating the Website was fun and a challenge for me. At first, I had a tough time being creative with it and making it look attractive. Once I got the hang of everything and all the ideas starte.
Reflecting about work and learning new things. This was very helpful because I was taught and learned how to be able to help students in a classroom who may have disabitlites with things. I want to make sure as a future teacher that ALL my students are comfortable in the classroom and are not struggling to see, hear, read, etc.
Throughout the class, I would have to say my two favorite assignments we did were the Concept Map and the Teacher Course. I REALLY enjoyed working with Inspiration. I spent so much time trying to make it perfect because I enjoyed the program so much. At first, I was a little confused how to use it, but once I got the hang of it I wanted to make 20 Concept Maps! Communication via the use of the World Wide Web is greatly increasing. Teachers are using technology more and more in the classroom. Web authoring is a great means of communication. It is also a great source of information that can be viewed and used by the public. School websites serve as a great means of communication between teachers, students, and parents.
Altogether, this class has been a great learning experience for me. I will use a great deal of what I learn in my classroom to improve my teaching experience, incorporate technology into my classroom, as well as enhancing what children are learning.
